Art that features powerful women

I have worked as a woman’s counselor for several years. I am always moved by women and their stories. Their strength and resilience inspires me daily. The world is still working to see women in their power and equality. It’s pathetic to think how few women artists are represented in large museums which are filled with paintings of nude women painted by men. My hope is that my painting supports women (even in a small way) in gaining agency in the collective consciousness, and helps to build HERstory.
